Background:

My career started aged 18, courtesy of a huge pile of second hand parts, access to a workshop and a very knowledgeable father. Self funded, I stopped racing in 1992 to focus on earning and returned to take the BMW Championship title in 1993 having spent the grand total £3200.

Without any realistic funding my racing career has been restricted to generous opportunities provided by friends and clients. Until 2008 I had achieved podium positions in every single race competed since 2000. The recent loss of this record is something I am going to work very hard to regain, but I regain it I will.
