Clients win in all categories at Silverstone

After an appalling Oulton Park weekend for most of my clients, Silverstone National turned out to be about as good as it gets with my clients winning in every category of Caterham Racing at the weekend.

Fauldsport driver James Sharrock took his first ever race win after breaking free from a battling 10 car pack. He was closely followed by another Fauldsport driver, JJ O’Malley. JJ’s drive to 2nd was particularly impressive because he started in 29th place on the grid. What an awesome drive from both of them and a great result for Fauldsport.

Lewis Hopkins finished 2nd in race 1 after taking an early substantial lead but succumbed to the pressure from experienced racer and Championship leader Phil Broad. Paul Storton is starting to make significant progress and was running with the lead pack in race 2 until a fuelling problem dropped him to 12th.

Adam Ferrenczi had yet another storming drive taking 6th overall from new client Paul Wilson in 7th who proved that after training he can now drive on pace in the dry as well as the wet. A very impressive drive from both these novice racers putting many much more experienced drivers to shame.

Roadsport B saw the first win for client Anthony Sidney-Woollett. Sid has been knocking on the door of the pace for some time but after a recent session crossed the barrier to consistent driving and took a deserved first race win. Previous race winner Rob Vissers finished a consistent 4th in both races.

As is now customary Trevor Fowell took the win in the Academy race! Trevor was pushed in the early laps but as always kept his cool and stayed on track to take another deserved win and continue his domination of the Caterham Academy 2008.
