29th May Spa SPEED Series Race with Andrew Derodra

After the cancellation of the Donington Park season opener it looked like my only confirmed race of the season was to turn to nothing. Then a date change from the 30th May to the 29th May for the Spa Francorchamps round of the SPEED series opened an opportunity for Andrew Derodra and I team up again and this time at one of the worlds finest circuits, which was nice!.

Its going to be a very busy trip though because work commitments prevent us both from testing on the Thursday and I must be back for long time friend and past team mate Simon Durrell’s wedding in England on the 30th.

Thankfully we have both driven the car around Spa, although its fair to say the environment was not conducive to “getting stuck in”. None the less at least we have some idea of what to expect from the car, after all being told Blanchemon is flat is one thing, turning into a 80degree corner at 140mph with concrete walls either side is quite another but we now know it can be done by us.

Apart from that I am trying hard to find a way to get racing regularly and would welcome any suggestions of teaming up or helping out in any way including with team managment.
