4th Year in the Britcar 24hrs with TJH Honda

For the 4th year running I will be are racing the highly successfull TJH Honda Civic Type R with car owner Paul Collis leading our entry. TJH Motorsport know the car so well it made sense to race this over the Porsche.

Jonathan Ridley-Holloway is once more joining us for a few night stints in between races in the Renault Clio Cup at Brands Hatch the same weekend. Since Jonathan was the cars original owner and my talented team mate for 2 years it only seemed right for him to join us again.

We will be joined this year by Owen Mildenhall, an experienced endurance racer and Britcar 24hr competitor for the factory Mazda and Nissan teams in the past. Owen is a journalist for Auto Express and Banzai magazine and will be entering some editorial on the race.

For the first time the car remains largely unchanged from the last year although stronger competition is expected and frankly greatly anticipated by me. Last year in particular was a walk in the park with only us drivers able to give it away rather than be beaten. This year I suspect and hope will be different with a proposed entry from experienced team Barwell Motorsport and a car that is proven to be quicker. 24hrs is a long time but with competition its much more rewarding either way.

Needless to say we are targeting another top 10 overall finish but it is likely to be an even taller order as the experience of our competitors throughout the field grows.
