Saxmax racers doing well

The season is getting off to a fine start. The DNA Motorsport SaxMax squad of Ryan Ratcliffe, Scott Moakes and Oliver White had their first race at Snetterton last weekend.

I am over the moon with the progress of 15 year old Ryan. Ryan had done nothing in terms of any sporting background (not even indoor karting) before we started working together in late December. In his first race weekend at Snetterton not only did he avoid the usual crashes but, he went faster in every session out pacing several racers in their second season.

16 year old Oli White from Bath finished 2nd at Snetterton despite running a very tight budget and not testing at all prior to the race weekend. Oli is a very talented young driver with a decent club karting pedigree and I suspect will become a serious force to be reckoned with in SaxMax over the rest of the season.

15 year Scott Moakes had an unfortunate weekend with mechanical issues causing a major power loss. Scott comes from a grass track background and will also become a front runner in SaxMax although at this time I’ve not been fortunate to get much running with him to work of track focus so his potential has been somewhat disguised but will come forward.
