Lots of winners this month

Its funny how it goes. After a bit of mid season draught of client wins where only Trevor Fowell, Paul Brannan, Flick Haige, Tim Clarke and Olli White were doing the winning in their respective championships, all of sudden Paul Wilson steps up to the mark in fine style at Silverstone to join them for 2 well earned wins in Caterham R300's.

Long time friend Chris Bialan also won recently taking the first win for Piranha Motorsport, the first non Aston Martin N24 to win its class in GT Cup and the first the time a Lotus 211 has won a GT race in the UK.... Oh and he set a new lap record despite running with balast thanks to a smart confidence inspiring set up change by Piranha engineer Ed.

Flick Haige has now won the Caterham Classic Graduates Championship in fine style breaking the multi year reign in the championship of Graeme Smith. The best part of all about Flicks title is she was generaly the fastest driver on the track at every race.

In Caterham Academy Jeremy Webb took his first race win at Mallory Park after just one coaching session. I am sure Jez will be a strong contender in future caterham series.

I feel I should mention that Jonny Leroux has also taken his first race win having come of age as a serious racing driver in Caterham R300's. Jonny proves even highly competent drivers to begin with can benefit from coaching even if its only in small areas. At Silverstone to see his charge through the field to challenge for the lead after stalling of the start was a highlight of the season. Sadly he was driven into by a very daft error from another driver so did'nt get the reward he deserved.

Snetterton in 1 week is the last rounds of all the major Caterham Championships with titles still wide open. Its going to be a great race meeting.
