FAULDSPORT COMMITMENT

I am delighted to announce that in 2008 I will be attending the majority of Caterham Roadsport races and tests as team coach and mentor to the drivers at Fauldsport. The aim is to provide the same focus I offered to Gary Halcrow and Chris Bialan in their dominant 2006 season. The only reason I might not be around will be because of a professional driving commitment.

Regular Fauldsport driver and 2006 Caterham Academy Champion James Sharrock will be joined by JJ O’Malley. JJ, I would like to point out was frankly robbed of a comfortable 2007 Academy title by a very….errant competitor at Cadwell Park. Both are existing clients and bring very different skills to the team! They will be joined by rapid 2007 Roadsport B runner up Paul Storton and another ex academy winner in Lewis Hopkins.

By any standards this is great looking driver line up and is testament to the work of Fauldsport. The whole team is a great mix of characters that should produce some cracking results. However, lets not get carried away, Caterham Roadsports is simply the most random and competitive in equal measure, race series I know of. So nothing is certain but between Stuart and myself we will do our best to ensure a successful season for this promising group of racers.

Now before I go I must also point out that I will be offering significant attention to a group of privateers in the Caterham Roadsports Championship. These drivers have expressed a commitment to me so I will do the best I can to prioritise them. These drivers are Darren Laverty, Simon Roche and Vance Kearney
