6 Wins on the trott for Caterham clients

Brands Hatch saw an almost perfect end to the Caterham Roadsport A season for my association with Team Fauldsport. Drivers Lewis Hopkins ( 2 wins) and JJ O’Malley (1 win) dominated the 3 RSA races with James Sharrock coming home second to Lewis in both his races. In fact James led most of race one and was overtaken by a decisive/determined Lewis in the last corner to take the win from James by just 0.025 seconds. The pair had left the field for dead winning by over 5 seconds.

It is easy to assume that with such dominance from one team that Stuart Faulds has found some performance advantage, but I can assure you its nothing more than the realisation of the drivers true talents finally coming to the fore after a year of “excuse eradication!” and focusing on the right things to achieve their personal goals. The team played their exceptional part by never once letting any of us down, always providing factually set up race cars. The result James, Lewis and JJ won the last 6 Roadsport A races between them and with 4 second places to back the wins up. Awsome work team I'm very proud of what you all achieved.

New comer to Caterham coaching and 2009 Team driver Jonathan Ramsay had his best race of the season finishing in the top 10 for the first time after a coaching session at Donington prior to the Brands race and a track walk. Jonathan was dicing with 2008 star newcomer and Fauldsport supported driver Adam Ferrenczi. Paul Wilson, another first year racer had an up and down weekend but was again fighting inside the top 10 proving his potential.

In Roadsport B Anthony Sidery-Woollett took a fine second place in race two after a motivational chat over a Sandwich after race one. Academy Champion Trevor Fowell also came home second in his race in a car that is very much in need of some set up work. Trevor's competition has gained momentum in the later part of the season but I am confident he will be back on top in RSB in 2009
